Subzero is a flexible design system built to bring clarity, consistency and scalability to Axis Bank’s digital ecosystem. It solves challenges like inconsistent components, fragmented patterns and poor alignment between design and development. With standardised tokens, reusable components and clear guidelines, Subzero ensures seamless, reliable experiences across products.

Rooted in atomic design and aligned with WCAG standards, it’s built for modularity, accessibility and collaboration. A defined contribution model, regular syncs and active support channels allow teams and partners to build together. Subzero is a future-ready, inclusive system driving design efficiency and brand coherence at scale.

Goals:
● Establish a scalable design system from scratch that supports all digital products.

● Improve collaboration between design, tech and product teams.

● Create a consistent visual language across platforms and use cases.

● Align all interfaces to a single source of truth for faster design and development.

● Reduce repetitive effort by building a central asset library and component guide.
