My work sits somewhere between understanding people, making sense of complex systems and designing what could come next. I’ve worked across finance, public health, climate action and cities, moving between research, strategy and product design depending on what the problem needs.

I’ve researched how people adapted to life after COVID-19, designed complex financial experiences at Axis Bank, helped build a design system used across 50+ digital products and now work with Create Adapt and the British Council, researching and shaping climate-action initiatives across different communities and contexts.

Across all of it, my process stays pretty consistent: ask good questions, find the patterns, make complexity visible and turn what we learn into something useful.

I’m a beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellow and a UN SDSN Local Pathways Fellow, where I’ve been exploring inclusive urban mobility, accessibility and how cities might work better for more people. I’m especially curious about cities, climate, mobility and how people behave within complex systems, basically, the messy questions without one obvious answer.

About me

My Process

Start with curiosity, not assumptions

Before thinking about solutions, I want to understand what’s really happening and why. I use research to listen to people, question assumptions and uncover the behaviours, needs and relationships beneath the surface.

ask first, design later
look at bigger picture

See the system, not just the problem

Most challenges don’t exist in isolation. I zoom out to understand the people, relationships, structures and forces surrounding a problem, then zoom back in to find where design can meaningfully intervene.

Make sense of the messy middle

Research rarely arrives neatly packaged. I enjoy turning stories, observations and seemingly disconnected information into patterns, insights and opportunities that give teams something tangible to move forward with.

mess → meaning
better together

Design with people, not around them

The strongest ideas rarely come from one person in a room. I bring users, designers, engineers, experts and stakeholders into the process to challenge assumptions, explore possibilities and shape solutions together.

Timeline

Create Adapt

As a Design Researcher & Communications Associate, I lead research and communications for Alumni UK’s Seed Pod Community of Practice with the British Council, working across 20+ international projects. I conduct interviews, surveys and participatory workshops, synthesising insights into reports, visual narratives and accessible outputs that help shape more inclusive programmes and services.

June 2025 - Current

Axis Bank

As a Product Designer, I led end-to-end UX for Axis Direct, using research, journey mapping, prototyping and usability testing to redesign complex trading experiences, increasing engagement by 18% and reducing drop-off by 12%. I also helped build and scale Subzero, a 100+ component accessible design system used across 50+ digital products.

JUN 2021 – AUG 2023

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health's D-Lab

Conducted qualitative research for Remember Now: Designing Life after COVID-19, exploring behavioural shifts and resilience needs across 200+ households. I synthesised research into patterns, design recommendations and future scenarios, working with academics, health experts and interdisciplinary partners.

NOV 2020 – MAY 2021

Axis Bank

As a Product Designer, I conducted user research and developed personas for Accord, Axis Bank’s illustration system, while also designing an augmented-reality credit-card experience connecting physical and digital interactions. I worked across research, accessibility and product design to explore more inclusive financial experiences.
